On the Eve of a Great Adventure!

Welcome to the Berry College Volleyball blog! In anticipation of our long awaited team trip to Nicaragua, we decided to start our own blog. We are now a mere day away from embarking on an incredible adventure. The last few weeks have been full of preparations: practice, fundraising, gathering donation items to take with us, filling out paperwork and more paperwork, arranging transportation to and from the airport, and learning about Nicaragua. Over the past few weeks, our team members have come to each practice prepared to share a fact about Nicaragua. We have learned everything from when the first public school was started to what type of electrical outlets they use to details about the cordoba (their currency) to the history of devastation in Managua and lots more. Now we are all just ready to experience it all ‘firsthand’! We hope you can join us vicariously on our journey and enjoy hearing our stories over the next week. Hasta luego amigos!
